Personal Storage

Files uploaded to Personal Storage will be saved in your personal repository and will be accessible only by you unless you choose to share them publicly.

The storage available to your account is dependent on the subscription associated to your account.

You have the option to select which of your groups or contacts have access to the folders in your locker.

All personal storage remains private to your account. We do not analyze your personal content unless you specifically allow it in your settings page.


Business Storage

Documents uploaded for your organization are considered private. We do not allow multilateral access to your companies data without your direction or consent.

The storage available to your organization is dependent on the subscription associated to your organization.

Sharing Files Publicly

If you want to share files from your personal repository with others through the public repository, you can follow these steps:

  1. Locate the file you want to share in your personal repository.
  2. Select the file and navigate to its details page.
  3. In the details page, look for the "Share" or "Public" button.
  4. Click on the button to make the file publicly accessible.
  5. You will receive a unique URL or link that you can share with others.

Anyone with the URL will be able to access and download the shared file from the public repository.

Public media is stored in the location of your account and is readily available all over the world in our cloud-based storage units.

Byte Directory supports uploads of media and content files. Each file type will have various features and restrictions associated with it.
